My Audi A6 Saloon is in good condition for its year and mileage. It is the 1996 (N-reg) 2.0 Automatic in pearlescent white with dark charcoal interior. It has been a non-smokers car from new and NO pets have been in it (so no funny stains or smells!).
The car is mechanically sound and has 94k on the clock confirmed by MOT's and service records. It has a full service record, the engine purrs, and no smoke what so ever on start up or when it’s running and the auto transmission is perfect. Brakes and suspension are superb. It has a Panasonic stereo with remote control instead of the standard VW Group one (changed by the previous owner).
Everything works as it should; this really is a quality car, economy and luxury. The owner’s manual and literature are supplied with the vehicle, as well as receipts. The bodywork is rust-free and in very good condition for its age (this is NOT terminology for 'shot-to-bits'), the bumper has a scrape on it that is only noticeable if you are approx 1m. There are a couple of covered cuffs that are also only noticeable at very close inspection but NOTHING major.
The car comes with a long MOT (February 2007) and has 4 good tyres (Goodyear Eagles all with over 4mm of tread left on them, the spare is a Falken). It has a recent exhaust and is taxed till end of June 2006.

Having only had 3 owners this A6 has been very well looked after. The seats are free from markings or tears. I don’t believe that the passenger seats have even been sat on from the look and feel of them. NO cigarette burns as I don’t smoke and didn’t want a car from owners that had. The interior has been very well cared for hence the stunning condition. It drives lovely and smooth with good sound reduction inside to reduce any outside noises. The digital climate control is a godsend in this warmer weather and as I’ve just put a new MOT on it, you’ve got a very sound, reliable motor. All that was needed for the MOT was a new set of rear disc’s and pads. All 4 tyres are nearly new. Despite its age, this car was built to last and last well!! There are NO problems with gearbox, suspension, drive-shafts, brakes, electrics or anything else that you could imagine, unlike on other “lesser” cars. This really is an exceptional vehicle. The A6 has a ‘FULL’ Audi service history but I only have the duplicate which shows the last 3 services. Audi have been contacted to confirm this and they informed me that for a nominal fee of £25 they can send a replacement service book. May 2005 was the last recorded service date. The bodywork looks very smart in metallic blue and is in good all-round order for a car of this age. There is a small patch of rust on the front left passenger door about 2x2” with a scratch above it.
