Mitsubishi Motor's automotive tradition goes back to 1917 when the Mitsubishi Model A, Japan's first series-production automobile, was introduced. Over the next two decades the company established themselves as an innovator, developing, amongst others, Japan's first diesel engine, it's first large-sized bus (the start of the world famous Fuso commercial vehicle series), it's first four-wheel drive passenger car prototype, and it's first diesel-powered truck.
The Mitsubishi three-diamond mark originated with the emblem that Yataro Iwasaki chose for the shipping company he started in 1870. That emblem was a combination of the Iwasaki family crest and the oak-leaf crest of the Yamanouchi family, leaders of the Tosa clan, which controlled the part of Shikoku where Yataro was born.

Mitsubishi Spacestar in Silver which is till in very good condition. May consider a car as part exchange. Last free manufacturers service due at 25500 miles, Mitsubishi warranty ends March 2006 which can be transfered. It has recently had 2 new tyres fitted on the front. Also includes locking wheel nuts, adjustable steering, 3 rear headrests, adjustable rear seat, rear seat armrest. This is quite a nippy car and since we bought it brand new in March 2003 it has also averaged around 40 mpg. It has been no bother since new which you would expect from Mitsubishi Motors.
