Their plans for the future reflect a greater understanding of the changing needs of their customers in 21st century Britain. For example the New Vectra launched in 2002 took on the opposition and beat them in independent test after test; a result of listening and learning. The car went on to win some important awards such as Best Family Car (Auto Express New Car Honours) and Best New Car (FleetWorld).
